Shield the Patients is a student-led non-profit youth organization, with the focus to mainly spread awareness and contribute to the vulnerable state of cybersecurity among various components comprising throughout the healthcare sector, as well as provide awareness towards cyberthreats and being safe online. Shield the Patients also focuses on individual and general aspects of cybersecurity, health IT/cybersecurity, and healthcare (providing free resources for all)!
Healthcare Cybersecurity and Health IT are relatively new fields that don't get enough attention, even after how critical the scenes were after the pandemic. Shield the patients additionally pushes to get more individuals involved and participating in these fields, your interest and involvement could go a long way!

Participate in activities and fun through these webinars and evets as well. Interviews with Professionals
Interviews or lectures with professionals is a great way to delve into how the workspace is like for students, as well as provide primary information/knowledge from someone who has experience. Interviews on various relevant topics will be consistently posted, or live-streamed, on both "Shield The Patients" website, the "Shield The Patients" YouTube channel, as well as other relevant social medias.

Our main form of spreading awareness and educating people is through visuals, infographics, as well as research articles. They will be consistently put out, on both the "Shield The Patients" website, as well as relevant social media platforms.
